Javed Iqbal
Chief Executive Officer
Javed Iqbal has 30 years of banking experience in the areas of Investment, corporate, commercial, and SME Banking. He started his career with Al Faysal Investment Bank and over the years, he has headed SME/Commercial Business at Faysal Bank, United Bank Limited, and Standard Chartered Bank Limited. Prior to Joining Parwaaz Financial Services Limited, he was serving as Head of Commercial and SME banking at Bank al Falah Limited.
Javed Iqbal has led sustainable growth in SME banking, championing in areas like financial inclusion for SMEs, introducing best practices, and multi-donor-led investment programmers. Key initiatives are the provision of Non-Financial Advisory Services (NFAS) in the SME space by launching SME Toolkit – an online solutions portal aimed at providing advisory, global best practices, key tools/enablers, and induction of value chain based customized solutions, bringing scale in the SME segment and addressing the needs for financial inclusions.
M. Atif Kauser
Chief Risk Officer
Before joining Parwaaz he was working as Risk Head for Corporate & SME Risk at Silkbank Limited. He has over 29 years of Banking experience in various areas like Credit Marketing, Corporate Marketing and Promotion, Financial Control but his maximum time has been spent in the area of Risk Management including Consumer Risk, SME Risk & Corporate Risk. He has served as CRO at Silkbank also and has been the secretary to the Risk Committee of the Board at Silkbank for over 12 years.He has worked with Union Bank, MCB, Prime Bank, ABN AMRO Bank Pakistan and Silkbank before joining PARWAAZ. He has been a visiting faculty member at various institutions including University of Central Punjab as well as University of the Punjab, Lahore and has been associated with the field of academics since 1999/2000.He holds Master’s Degrees in Business Administration, a Master degree in Public Administration and Diploma in Banking from Institute of Bankers Pakistan. He is also a trained / qualified / certified Director for Public Sector Enterprises.
Bilal Mohyuddin
Chief Financial Officer
Bilal Mohy ud din is a Fellow member of The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan (ICAP) having diversified experience of 20 years in various Finance related functions, Assurance engagements, Credit Reviews, Risk Advisory, Governance, Strategies, Taxation and Restructurings. He brings with him extensive exposure of Financial Services Sector, manufacturing Industry and Big four accounting firms in Pakistan & Middle East. Prior to joining Parwaaz, he was serving as Chief Financial Officer of Public Sector Financial Institution engaged in serving SME Sector. Mr. Bilal has also served Finca Microfinance Bank Limited, United Bank Limited, Faysal Bank Limited, MCB Bank Limited, Berger Paints Pakistan Limited, Deloitte Pakistan and Deloitte Middle East in several roles at various management levels.
Hassan Yasser
Head of Business
Hassan is an ex-banker with over two decades of experience in Pakistan’s banks and a short stint with a charity hospital. He has a good grasp of SME&C dynamics, business development, relationship management, R&D for product development and SME &C risk and remedial management. Academically, Hassan has MSc in Physics, MBA (Finance) and LLB to his credit.
With these credentials, Hassan joins Parwaz Financial Services as its Business Head and aspires to be a catalyst of change in SME&C financing.
Iftikhar Chaudhary
Chief Technology Officer
Iftikhar Chaudhary is a Fintech and Digital Transformation leader with 20+ years of experience building and governing regulated technology platforms across fintech, banking, SaaS, and enterprise systems.
As Chief Technology Officer at Parwaaz Financial Services, he leads technology strategy, digital architecture, cybersecurity, and regulatory compliance, supporting SME focused financial inclusion.
Previously, he served as CTO at Finja, Pakistan’s first dual-licensed fintech (EMI & NBFC), where he led the country’s first SBP regulated digital wallet, SECP approved P2P lending platform, and technology oversight during Pakistan’s first EMI acquisition.
Iftikhar works closely with boards, regulators, and auditors to deliver secure, compliant, and scalable systems, aligning innovation with measurable business outcomes.
Syed Asghar Hussain
Head of Digital Strategy
Syed Asghar Hussain is a seasoned Digital Strategy and Financial Services expert with over 20 years of experience across Financial Inclusion, MSME Financing, Digital Banking, and Embedded Finance. He has played a pivotal role in shaping digital and growth strategies within leading financial institutions.
As Head of Digital Strategy at Parwaaz Financial Services, he drives digital innovation, partnership ecosystems, and technology-enabled financial inclusion initiatives, strengthening access to finance for SMEs through scalable and customer-centric solutions.
Throughout his career, he has contributed to prominent organizations including Raqami Islamic Digital Bank, Bank Alfalah (Digital Banking Group), FINCA Microfinance Bank, Standard Chartered Bank, and Tameer/Telenor Microfinance Bank (now EasyPaisa Digital Bank), where he led strategic initiatives across digital transformation, product development, and inclusive finance.
Asghar holds an MSc in International Marketing Management from the University of East London, London, and an MBA in International Business from the Institute of Business Administration (IBA), Karachi, combining global academic perspective with deep industry expertise.
