Javed Iqbal has 30 years of banking experience in the areas of Investment, corporate, commercial, and SME Banking. He started his career with Al Faysal Investment Bank and over the years, he has headed SME/Commercial Business at Faysal Bank, United Bank Limited, and Standard Chartered Bank Limited. Prior to Joining Parwaaz Financial Services Limited, he was serving as Head of Commercial and SME banking at Bank al Falah Limited.
Javed Iqbal has led sustainable growth in SME banking, championing in areas like financial inclusion for SMEs, introducing best practices, and multi-donor-led investment programmes. Key initiatives are the provision of Non-Financial Advisory Services (NFAS) in the SME space by launching SME Toolkit – an online solutions portal aimed at providing advisory, global best practices, key tools/enablers, and induction of value chain based customized solutions, bringing scale in the SME segment and addressing the needs for financial inclusions.
Mr. Bilal Mohy ud din is a Fellow member of The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan (ICAP) having diversified experience of 20 years in various Finance related functions, Assurance engagements, Credit Reviews, Risk Advisory, Governance, Strategies, Taxation and Restructurings. He brings with him extensive exposure of Financial Services Sector, manufacturing Industry and Big four accounting firms in Pakistan & Middle East. Prior to joining Parwaaz, he was serving as Chief Financial Officer of Public Sector Financial Institution engaged in serving SME Sector. Mr. Bilal has also served Finca Microfinance Bank Limited, United Bank Limited, Faysal Bank Limited, MCB Bank Limited, Berger Paints Pakistan Limited, Deloitte Pakistan and Deloitte Middle East in several roles at various management levels.
Iftikhar Chaudhry, our Chief Technology Officer with 18 years of expertise in software engineering and product development. As a tech startup pioneer, Iftikhar has successfully led diverse projects and teams, showcasing a proven track record aligned with business objectives. A skilled communicator, he engages with investors, regulators, and stakeholders, excelling in building and scaling tech teams. Iftikhar's achievements include developing a State Bank of Pakistan regulated digital wallet, transforming digital transactions nationwide, contributing to strategic acquisitions, and introducing innovative solutions like Pakistan's first P2P lending system. His strategic mindset and diverse solutions consistently deliver value across industries notably in fintech, edtech, ecommerce, HRMS & Payroll, fitness and wellness. As Parwaaz's CTO, Iftikhar Chaudhary spearheads strategic execution, cybersecurity measures, and delivers excellence in software services.
Hassan is an ex-banker with over two decades of experience in Pakistan's banks and a short stint with a charity hospital. He has a good grasp of SME&C dynamics, business development, relationship management, R&D for product development and SME &C risk and remedial management. Academically, Hassan has MSc in Physics, MBA (Finance) and LLB to his credit.
With these credentials, Hassan joins Parwaz Financial Services as its Business Head and aspires to be a catalyst of change in SME&C financing.
Abeer, MBA in Finance and a CFA charter holder, holds 20 years of banking experience with a focus on commercial lending and risk management. As a Regional Credit Risk Manager at Faysal Bank Limited and Cluster Associate at Bank Alfalah, she oversaw portfolios exceeding PKR 15 Billion. Her expertise in financial analysis and credit risk assessment, along with a mix of business and risk experience, enables impactful assessments in Pakistan's growing SME sector. Abeer has conducted various training and certification programs, including sessions for the State Bank of Pakistan on Credit Risk Assessment of SMEs.
Rizwan, with 15+ years in project management and product development, excels in defining strategies for technical functions. Having worked with various technology-driven organizations, he was VP - IT Projects at FINCA Microfinance Bank Ltd. overseeing FinTech projects like micropayment gateway and digital banking. Before joining FINCA in 2018, he led software development and infrastructure teams as a development head and project manager.
Asif brings with him an experience of over 8 years, having worked in multiple sectors, such as,textile, manufacturing, automobile & telecommunications. Asif is an Associate Chartered Accountant, having completed his articles from A.F. Ferguson.
Prior to joining PFSL, Asif was working as Manager Finance, overseeing the organization’s Treasury Operations. While working as an Audit Team Leader with A.F. Ferguson, Asif was involved in Business Risk Assessment, Audit Strategy and preparation of Financial Statements.
At PFSL, Asif is involved in managing treasury, coordinating with auditors and corporate compliance.
Khuram Mobsher has joined Parwaaz Financial Services Limited as Manager CAD. Prior to this, he has over 13 years of experience. His extensive experience in banking includes multiple organizations, such as Habib Metroplolitan Bank, HBL and MCB Bank.
Khuram’s core responsibilities lie in policy implementation, credit documentation, audit & compliance. Prior to PFSL, Khuram was associated with Habib Bank Limited, as Manager Credit Administration. He was involved in the disbursement of finance in Corporate, Commercial as well as SME segments. At PFSL, Khuram is working as Manager Credit Administration, overseeing the Credit Risk policies, procedures and implementation for the SME sector.
Ali is a distinguished professional recognized as a Pioneer of Social Media and Brand Management, possesses a Masters in Mass Communications from Beaconhouse National University. With a proven track record of creating and implementing successful social media programs, Ali stays updated on evolving technologies in online networking. He excels in recommending, developing, and executing marketing strategies built on consumer and customer insights. As a Sustainability Initiatives Planning and Execution Expert, Ali demonstrates a deep understanding of sustainability challenges and opportunities. With 15 years of experience as a Respected Organizational Communications Expert, Ali specializes in web content development, project management, and PR writing.
A seasoned banking professional with over a decade of experience in managing, nurturing and growing relationships (Retail, Commercial & Corporate). Jawad’s main role is in finding mutually beneficial solutions for clients and the organization to ensure a smooth, uninterrupted and consistent inflow of business. Prior to joining PFSL, Jawad has an experience of over 12 years, working in renowned banks such as HBL & MCB.
At PFSL, Jawad’s core specialty is in Lending to SME clients. He is also well-versed in Credit and Risk Analysis, navigating the complex framework of Control & Legal documentation, as well as liaising with Legal & Remedial teams for liquidation and recoveries of non-performing loans.
Ahmed, an HR Practitioner with 9+ years' experience, excels in Strategic Talent Management, HR Business Partnering, Learning & Development, and People Excellence. From the IT sector to Consultancy, he worked with notable organizations like Descon Engineering, Abacus Consulting, and CureMD. At PFSL, Ahmed serves as the HR Manager, overseeing holistic HR functions, holding an MBA from the Lahore School of Economics.
