Assistant Product Manager - Digital Lending
Parwaaz Financial Services Limited is seeking an Assistant Product Manager with experience in digital lending to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will shape and optimize our digital lending products, catering to the unique needs of Pakistani SMEs. This role requires a strong grasp of technology, expertise in product design, the ability to understand the business landscape with excellent presentation skills.

Market Research – Conduct in-depth research to understand the evolving needs, behaviors, and preferences of SMEs in Pakistan, particularly in the digital lending domain.
Product Development – Assist in the design, development, and continuous improvement of digital lending products, ensuring alignment with market needs, business objectives, and regulatory standards.
Product Profitability & Growth – Support initiatives to track product profitability. Assist in the formulation and execution of product growth strategies to enhance market presence and customer adoption.
User-Centric Design – Collaborate with relevant teams to develop and iterate on products with a focus on user experience, simplicity, and customer-centric design principles.
Technology Integration – Assist the technology team in testing and reviewing digital lending features to ensure smooth integration and functionality.
Stakeholder Communication – Support in preparing presentations to stakeholders, including senior management and potential partners.
Competitor Analysis – Monitor and analyze offerings, strategies, and innovations from competitors in the digital lending space to identify gaps, risks, and opportunities for differentiation.
Data Analysis – Support in collecting and reviewing basic data to help evaluate product performance and identify trends.
Project Management – Assist the Product Manager in planning, executing, and tracking product development initiatives, ensuring timely delivery and cross-functional alignment.
Regulatory Compliance – Stay informed about relevant regulatory guidelines and ensure that product features and operations comply with SECP and other applicable legal requirements.
Testing and Quality Assurance – Help coordinate product testing, identify basic issues, and support quality checks for digital lending products.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong sense of accountability, integrity, flexibility, adaptability, and cultural sensitivity.
A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, such as Business, Finance, Computer Science, or a related discipline, is required. A postgraduate degree or relevant certifications would be advantageous.
- Preferably up to 2 years of experience in product support, customer journey analysis, digital platform management, or related roles in fintech, digital banking, or tech startups.
