Parwaaz Financial Services Limited (PFSL) is seeking a skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Relationship Manager – Climate Change. Reporting directly to the Head of Business, this role is pivotal in advancing PFSL’s green finance initiatives, including the launch of Green Bond. The incumbent will play a key role in developing and implementing climate finance strategies, ensuring compliance with environmental benchmarks, and building relationships to drive impactful climate-related projects.

Job Task
Major Responsibilities
- Climate Finance Strategy Development
- Design and implement climate finance strategies and policies in alignment with PFSL’s objectives.
- Evaluate and recommend sustainable financing instruments, including green bonds and other structured financial solutions.
- Project Management
- Oversee the reporting and monitoring of environmental benchmarks achieved through PFSL’s green bond funds.
- Ensure accurate tracking and disclosure of the positive environmental impact of financed projects, such as renewable energy initiatives.
- Regulatory and ESG Compliance
- Monitor and ensure adherence to environmental laws, regulations, and ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) frameworks.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to embed ESG principles in PFSL’s operations and financing activities.
- Stakeholder Engagement
- Build and manage relationships with local and international stakeholders, including regulators, environmental bodies, and financial institutions.
- Provide advisory support to clients and partners on sustainable and climate-friendly investment opportunities.
- Capacity Building
- Conduct workshops and training sessions to enhance awareness of climate finance within PFSL and among external stakeholders.
- Stay updated on global trends in climate finance and disseminate knowledge within the organization.

Eligibility Criteria
Education
- MBA / MPA / ACCA /Bachelor’s Degree (Four Years) in Finance, Environmental Science, or a related field.
Work experience
Up to 5 years of relevant experience in:
- Environmental laws and regulations.
- ESG framework implementation.
- Development and execution of climate finance strategies and policies.
- Monitoring and reporting on environmental impacts of financial projects.
